Tonight I have for you the Rebel Collection from China Glaze for Fall 2016.
Nearly 25 years after grunge exploded onto the music and fashion scene with names like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Courtney Love, comes Rebel, a new collection from China Glaze® that brings you the quintessential juxtaposition of the 90s. The 12 piece collection includes flirty and feminine pinks and pearls alongside gritty, deep purples, blues and grays, reminiscent of a flirty baby doll dress paired with a well-worn, vintage leather jacket and combat boots with fishnet tights, or ravaged jeans, a flannel and Mary Janes. The 90s attitude was wear what you want and forget the rest. Pink isn’t just for girls and combat boots aren’t just for boys, so this fall live loud, mix it up and set your inner Rebel free.
I hope you love this collection as much I do. I enjoyed swatching the beautiful and different finishes. This collection has something for everyone.
Fresh Prince-SS is a baby pink creme. This applied streaky, I recommend to let it dry between coats. This is three coats.
Dope Taupe is a a taupe creme with a hint of gray to it. Great formula, opaque in two coats.
Pearl Jammin' is one of may favorites from the collection. This is a baby blue with a coppery peach shimmer to it. This is three thin coats, amazing formula.
Y' All Red-Y is a wonderful bright red with a metallic shimmer in it. This is two coats.
Teen Spirit is another fave, a deep navy blue with metallic purple flecks. This is two coats.
Purple Fiction is a medium shimmery purple. This is two coats.
Blue-Ya is an intense blue jelly base packed with green and blue flecks. This applied easily, opaque in two coats.
Heroine Chic is a medium brown/charcoal base with red shimmer in it. This is three thin coats.
Combat Blue-TS is a shimmery royal blue with a matte finish. This dried very fast so you need to apply it quickly. This is two coats.
With top coat.
Jagged Little Teal is a medium dark teal creme. The formula on this was phenomenal. This is two coats.
Don't Mesh With Me is a pale shimmery purple base with micro glitter. This is one coat over Jagged Little Teal.
Three coats by itself. These looks incredible amazing as a topper over a dark base.
Holo At Ya Girl! is a gold and green glitters in a iridescent metallic base. This is three coats.
Definitely a great collection. I love the mix of finishes and a variety of shades. I have no issues applying them.
My favorites are Pear Jammin', Teen Spirit, Y' All Red-Y and Dope Taupe.
