China Glaze Crinkled Chrome Texture, Swacthes and Review of selected shades.

***Press Sample***

Hello!
Today I have for you swatches of three shades from the new China Glaze Crinkled Chrome collection. It's a little bit hard to describe the texture on these polishes, they all have the metallic chrome effect packed with bar glitter and mini beads to create the texture.
These applied nicely, you will get full opacity in just one coat but if you want to get the full texture effect I would recommend two coats. Always wait a couple of minutes between coats.

I didn't apply base or top coat for the swatches below.

I'm A Chromantic, this is a metallic pink shade. I applied two coats.

Crush, Crush, Baby,  a light lavender shade. This is two coats.

Aluminate, this is a silver foil shade. Two coat.

I'm still undecided about this collection, I don't know if I love or hate these polishes. It's very original from China Glaze creating this never seen before effect.
I love textured nail polishes but it's something about these that make them look weird, unfinished, like a messy manicure.
What do you think of this collection?

Thank you very much for reading!
Carolina

  1. Yo tengo en camino el tono Aluminate porque desde que lo ví me encantó. Parece papel albal, me resultó muy curioso jejeje

    Buenos swatches ;)

    1. SI, es muy raro el acabado, me imagino que es cuestión de acostumbrarse a verlo en las uñas.

  5. I am confused by this textures. Im not big into textures so I am not completely sold but you do make them look really pretty! the purple one looks very gorgeous.

  6. They actually remind me a little of the beaded mess from nails inc. and the equally messy sequin polishes from BarryM. The differences are the chrome finish and bar glitter...not that I think it make these better looking at all :D

  7. I don't think I like this collection very much, I wish they had just made metallics instead of the crinkle finish.

  8. I like that they're trying to do something different but i don't think i'm feeling it...

  9. Well.. I still do not know if I like them or not.. ;)
They are so different.. I guess I would have to see them on my nails to finally decide.

    Besos y Feliz Año ♥

  11. I already saw these online on Transdesign and thought about ordering them, as I am a sucker for textured polishes. Now I am glad I waited for swatches first, because I don't really like the way they look on the nails (mostly because of the bar glitter in them). So I'll pass on them.

  12. Although my most used polishes are from China Glaze, I can't like this...it's totally not my taste, I feel it makes anybody's nail ugly :(

  13. I agree with you on the messy manicure, these polishes aren't for me.

  14. I'm with you on that, I'm not sure these textured ones are for me after seeing them on the nail.

  15. They look a lot like stucco on an outside of a building. Like the shades but not the hunky texture.

  18. A mi no me termina de cerrar, creo que es un acabado demasiado desprolijo para mi gusto o lo que estoy acostumbrada. Bastante que me adapté a los arenados jajajaja igual a vos te queda precioso todo siempre, con esas uñitas♥
    Besos!
