Dermelect Unearthed Collection, Fall 2016

Today I have for you the new collection from Dermelect, the Unearthed set consists of six polishes inspired by the colors of the season, which are drawn from various elements of nature, including lava, copper, soil and bright foliage.


Beyond imparting gorgeous, long-lasting color on nails and toes, Dermelect’s Unearthed Collection gives back to the earth and draws inspiration from it by partnering with the non-profit Trees for the Future (trees.org). The brand has committed to plant one, new tree for every polish sold from the collection through April 2017 with a minimum donation of 10,000 trees planted. Trees for the Future improves the livelihoods of impoverished farmers by revitalizing degraded lands and planting over 128 million trees over the world to help people break out of poverty and address the global environment.

What A Gem, this is  a pale quartz shade with a gold shimmer to it. This is three coats.

Diggin' You, This is a rich brown creme with a hint of grey to it.  This is two coats.

To The Core, a shimmery russet copper. This was completely opaque in two coats.

Nobody's Fool,  is described as a chrome marigold.  This is a shimmery metallic golden yellow. This is two coats.

Verdure, is a a lush hunter green creme. This is two coats.

Magmatized, is a fiery red creme.  This was opaque in two coats.

My favorites from the collection are What A Gem and Magmatized. I really like the shades Dermelect piked for fall, definitely the perfect palette for the season.

HOW IT WORKS: The first coat instantly bonds to the nail, while the second fuses with the base coat to create a flexible web of color that resists chipping and improves brittleness. The key ingredient, Keratin Protein Peptide, is extracted from New Zealand sheep’s wool and works to help strengthen the nails.

ÜberChic Beauty New Releases - Fabulous Feathers Stamping Plate

Hello everyone!
Today I have for you a stamping plate that just came out of the oven. ÜberChic created a new collection of plates and two mini ones and they are available now.

The plate I will be showing you now is the Fabulous Feathers, it has really amazing images. There are 12 full size designs and 9 single images.

The size of each plate is 6 x 12 cm and are backed with a sturdy plastic backing. Most designs are 17 x 21mm.

For this first design I used Dermelect Hold 'Me' and stamped using MDU white stamping polish. 

For this one I did a gradient with ZOYA Kieko and Robin and stamped with Colors by Llarowe in Enchanted Forest.

There are no issues to report on this plate, as you can see in my pictures, the images came out beautifully. The quality of the ÜberChic plates is amazing, you always get a crisp image transferred onto your nails and I love their unique designs.

Today I have for you another Holiday collection.
Dermelect brings us the "Me" Holiday Collection for Winter 2015 featuring four season-inspired hues that combine sophistication and fun with a dose of merriment to holiday nails.

Hold "Me" is described as a sparkled midnight noir. This is a beautiful black creme full of micro holographic glitter. This was opaque in two coats.

Kiss "Me" is a beautiful velvet crimson.  This applied beautifully in two easy coats.

Sleigh "Me" is described as an arctic shimmer shade. This is a sheer white with golden shimmer.  Three coats were needed to obtain full opacity.

Today I have a new collection from Dermelect, this set of four shades was inspired by the beach and the summer sun. All Decked Out combines soothing colors with rich pigments and amazing formula.

Dermelect also created the Memento Manicure Extender Top Coat and the Revital-Oil Nail and Cuticle Treatment to be used in conjunction with these shades to guarantee you can finish your whole manicure under 20 minutes.

Dermelect recommends to use this polishes without a base coat because the first coat of polish instantly bonds to the nail while the second coat fuses with the first to create a flexible web of color.
After applying the desired color, you must top your manicure with the Memento manicure Extender Top Coat, it delivers a flawless gel-like mani with a brilliant, mirror-like shine and a superior durability that maintains polish up to nine days. Cures in natural light, Memento can be applied over any nail polish color to provide a long-wear, chip-free, high-gloss shine. Keratin protein peptide-infused to help nails grow stronger and healthier, fortifying brittle nails over time.

The ‘green’ formula is DBP, Toluene, and Formaldehyde free. 

Lazy Daze is described as a butter creme. This is a beautiful soft yellow, it applied smoothly and was completely opaque in two coats.

A Shore Thing, this is a sheer beige/pink. This is three thin coats.

Dune My Thing, this is a gorgeous mauve taupe creme.  I needed two coats to obtain full opacity.

Fant-A-Sea, this is a stunning light peach packed with silver shimmer. This is two coats.

To finish the manicure I used the Revital-Oil to nourish my cuticles and hydrate my nails. This Nail and Cuticle oil contains KeratinProtein Peptide, Shea Butter, Jojoba Seed Oil, Coffee Bean Extract, Orang and Lemon Citrus Oil and Argan Oil.

I really enjoyed swatching this collection from Dermelect, it's a beautiful transition palette from winter to spring.  These applied smoothly, the pigmentation on these polishes is excellent.  The Memento Top Coat claims to extend the life of your manicure for up to 9 days, I only wore one of these colors for three days and didn't get any chip and the nails were still ver shiny after those days.
