KBShimmer Fall 2013, Swatches and Review

This is the Fall Collection that KBShimmer brought for fall this year. There's seven polishes in this collection, two of them with a matte/satin finish. Christy also included a Halloween shade to this collection.

KBShimmer - The Grape Beyond and Would Jubilee it?

KBShimmer will be celebrating five years in business this month, and Christy created two beautiful polishes to celebrate it.
This duo will be sold separately, but was designed to work together.

The Grape Beyond, "This matte purple polish is designed to accent the glitters in Would Jubilee It? . This shade is not too dark, and not too light, letting each glitter shine. The Grape Beyond features a very subtle turquoise shimmer that is evident in the light with top coat."

The formula and application on this were excellent, the first coat was just a little bit streaky but the second went on perfectly for full coverage.

Would Jubilee It? "This Glitter topper is loaded with all my favorite glitters. Circle glitters in fuchsia, aqua, and silver, hex glitters in sapphire and turquoise, and micro slices in fuchsia, aqua and silver."

This one had great formula too, applied easily. This is one coat over The Grape Beyond.

KBShimmer is excited to announce the addition of 9 new colors to their 3-Free glitter polish line and an expansion to their nail prep line.  Owner Christy Rose says “With warm weather and sandals popping up, June is the perfect time for bright, bold colors and patriotic themes to celebrate a fun and exciting summer.”

The summer lineup includes one glitter top coat, two glitter crellys in a white base and six bright, bold polishes, two in a matte finish.  KBShimmer will also be expanding their nail care line to include two scented cuticle oils and liquid nail prep. “Our new line was created to play off the bolder palette of summer, some inspired by the 80’s and 90s, but also to celebrate the patriotic season. One of our polishes plays off the color of the year, Emerald Green, and will ease people into the summer while two others were inspired by the fall 2013 Pantone colors Koi and Vivacious. Both will make for an easy transition through the summer and into the fall.  We are also excited to unveil two scented cuticle oils in an easy-applicator pen.  We hope to inspire and motivate people to go out in the sun and show off their nails!” says Rose.

What’s Your Damage? – White crelly polish with neon green, neon pink, and black glitters.

Don’t Pink Twice –Bright near magenta pink with subtle blue shimmer – matte

24 Carrot Bold –Orange red polish with gold shimmer – matte

Blinded By The Bright – Neon yellow polish with a scattering of hex glitters in the 6 primary and secondary colors

The Dancing Green –A almost neon green with blue undertones, accented by fuchsia, sapphire,  green and chartreuse glitters in different shapes and sizes

Totally Tubular – A blue-green crelly polish with fuchsia circle glitters in two sizes and fuchsia micro slices, aqua circle glitters and sapphire hex glitters.

Totally Razzical – A red-violet shade leaning towards the purple side of raspberry. Loaded with holographic hex glitters in magenta, silver and pink.

Grayscale – Black, White, and Gray glitters are suspended in a clear base. Circles, hexes, rectangles, and squares in so many sizes complete this glitter top coat.

Pimp My Pride – This white based polish features metallic red and blue glitters. Best worn in three coats, or 1-2 coats over your favorite white.

KBShimmer Spring 2013 Collection, Swatches and Review

Hello!
These are the nine beautiful new creations from KBShimmer for spring 2013. This collection will be availabe at KBShimmer's Website on February 15th.

The application was excellent due to the great formula on these. For all my swatches I used the Clearly On Top Nail Polish, a dry fast top coat with super shiny finish that I already love!

Lottie Dottie is decribed as  turquoise and fuchsia dots and coordinating glitters micro slices in a soft white base. This is three easy coats. 

Spring Training, is a soft green crelly (creme/jelly)  full of pink, purple, blue and green floral toned glitters, scented with a floral freesia note. This is three coats.

Iris My Case, is a Violet pastel crelly with glitters in purple, pink, silver and blue. I applied three coats. 

Where My Peeps At,  a soft yellow crelly with dots and tiny hex glitter in fun jelly bean like shades. Easy coverage in three coats. 

Get Clover It, this is a emerald green jelly with micro shimmer and dots glitter in shades of green, gold and turquoise,  this can be layered over coordinating polish to cover nail line. I'm showing three coats by itself. 

Squared Away, square glitters in a variety of sizes, colors and finishes including metallic and holographic in a clear base. This is two coats over Barry M Blueberry.

Pastel Me More, pastel colored glitters in a rainbow of colors and range of sizes in a clear base. Two coats over Barry M Blood Orange.

A Dot Mess, this is fuchsia and black dots, hexes, and micro slices in a clear base. Two coats over Barry M Watermelon. 

I Got A Crush On Blue, Royal blue jelly with holographic silver glitters ranging from micro to extra large. This is two coats over Barry M Blackberry.

I'm in love with this collection, I really like them all!!!
The formula was excellent and the application was very smooth. I didn't have any problems placing the glitters on the nails. I used thin coats for the best results.

KBShimmer Winter 2012 Collection

Hello!
This is the collection I was most excited about. I love KBShimmer polishes, Christy knows how to put together all the ingredients to create the most beautiful polishes.

This Winter Collection consists of nine colors that reflect the season.
I used base coat and top coat in all my swatches below.

Snow Way!

A sky blue base with white glitters and tiny iridescent glitters.

I applied three thin coats.

Hex Appeal
A navy jelly base with magenta, silver and blue hex glitters and tiny micro bar glitters. This is three coats.

Sugar Plum Faerie
A soft plum violet jelly with berry colored holographic glitters in different sizes, a scattering on purple glitters along with lime holo glitters. I applied three coats.

All Decked Out
A forest green base loaded with a mix of colored hexes in various sizes, gold holo hexes and a scattering of gold holo stars. Definitely the best way to represent a Christmas Tree. I applied three easy coats.

Berry Christmas
A cranberry red polish loaded with micro red glitters in several shades, berry pink glitters and purple glitters offer depth and sparkle, and a hint of gold. This is two coats.

Cocoa Nut
A chocolate brown polish loaded with berry colored glitters in several shades of pink. Micro gold adds a hint of shimmer and shine. I applied two coats.

The next three polishes are top coats, I decided  to swatch these over black and white to help you visualize the look over a dark and light shade.

Candy Cane Crush
This top coat is loaded with red and white hex glitters in many different sizes. This polish is scented with peppermint and vanilla, for a sweet mint scent. I'm in love with this top coat what you see in the picture is only one coat. This smells Delicious!!

We Three Blings
This gold top coat adds the perfect shimmer to any polish. It has micro iridescent gold and  faux gold flakes, also has several sizes of gold holo glitter. One coat over black and white.

Wrappers Delight
This polish screams Christmas!! Inspired by wrapping paper, rolls of ribbons and tons of tissue that surround gifts, this polish is ideal to layer over your favorite holiday cream. Red, gold and green glitters in a ton of different sizes pack this polish. This polish will be sold of $10 a bottle, with $5 from each going towards Toys for Tots. This is a great cause to support this Christmas!

All I have to say about these polishes is that they are AMAZING!
I'm in love with these polishes, to me, this is the best Christmas collection I've seen this year.
I don't have a favorite, I like them all!

Even when I applied three coats in some of the polishes, the application was great, the glitters were very easy to spread. The pigmentation was excellent.
