White Owl Lacquers - Spring 2013 Collection

Hello everyone!.
Today I have for you a beautiful collection created by my friend Mara from Mara In Polishland, these stunning polishes have the perfect look for Spring. The formula on these is perfection, they apply very easy and smoothly.

Cherry Blossoms is a white jelly base with blue iridescent flakies, purple mate hex, light green dots, pink matte hex and bigger magenta dots. 
This is two coats over a white nail polish. 

Night Blooming is a pale muted pink jelly based with a variety of pastel glitter and metallic fuchsia hex. This is three coats by itself.

Vintage Roses is a nude beige jelly base with pink shimmer and a mix of pink and green glitter, in different sizes and shapes, including mettalic small pink dots.  I applied three coats.

Morning Dew is a white jelly base with iridescent blue flakies, silver micro glitter  green pastel matte hex, light blue pastel squares, silver hex and metallic light green dots. I applied two coats over white.

 Water Lilies is a light mint green jelly base with purple, teal and aqua matte hex, metallic turquoise dots and bigger magenta dots. I applied two coats over a mint green shade. 

Dwelling On Love is like Dwelling on Dreams, is a white jelly based with gold metallic squares and two tones of matte pink glitter (instead of aqua/teal) 

I highly recommend this stunning collection for Spring. I love how soft and delicate these look.

White Owl Lacquers - St. Patrick's Duo

Hello everyone!
Today I have for you a duo from Mara in Polishland, Mara created these two polishes for St. Patrick's Day.

Lucky Star is a white jelly base full of different sizes and shapes of green glitter, it also has stars in aqua, purple and pink. This is three medium coats. The application was very easy, the glitters applied evenly without effort.

Clover Fields, this clear base is packed with green and pastel matte glitters, this also has a hint of silver and pastel stars. This is one coat over Illamasqua Venous.

This is how Illamasqua Venous looks by itself.

These is a cute duo for St Patrick's Day but I could wear them all year round.

White Owls Lacquers Valentine's Day Collection

Good Afternoon!

My dear friend Mara form Mara in Polishland, just released her second collection, this time inspired by The Vampire Diaries. The Heightened Emotions collection consists of  three polishes. Today I'm showing you two of them.

Never Let Me Go is a white jelly base with red, fuchsia and pink glitter in round shape and square iridescent glitter.  The formula was very nice, you can layer it over a white base or by itself. I applied three thin coats.

A Little Danger, this has the same glitter as NLMG but in clar base to be used as a top coat over any color you like. I applied two thin coats over black (ring finger)

For the design I used the plates BM09-317 from Bundle Monster.

The third shade is called Come To Me, a different size and shapes of matte blue glitter and pink dots in a jelly white base.

White Owl Lacquers, Swatches and Review

Hello!
This post is very special to me, I'm going to present to you a brand new indie company created by a really good friend of mine. She always dreamed of having her own nail polish brand and today, that dream came true ...
She's Mara from the Mara in Polishland blog, her first collection is called After All This Time based on the Harry Potter Universe.

I feel so honored to show you the swatches I did.

Pumpkin Pasties
This is a peachy jelly base with red, orange, yellow and brown glitter in different sizes.  I applied two medium coats. This shade reminds me of fall, when the trees are changing colors. Very pretty and delicate.

Basilisk Venom
Black glitter with a touch of red, yellow, orange and copper in a clear shimmery gold base. This is two coats over China Glaze Def Defying.

Phoenix Tears
Here you have two coats over Barry M Blue Cobalt, Phoenix Tears is a clear shimmery blue base with snow white glitter and blue, green and purple.

Moony
Moony is a clear base packed with silver, gunmetal and black glitter in different sizes ans shapes. I applied one coat over China Glaze Escaping Reality.

Kittens and Teacups
This is a white jelly base with light matte pink glitter and small square black glitter. I applied Kittens and Teacups over one coat of white creme nail polish. This can be worn alone using two medium or three thin coats.

Dwelling On Dreams
This is another white jelly base with teal, aqua and gold glitter. I'm showing you pictures of DoD by itself and over white creme nail polish

Overall, I just have to say that I love every single polish from this collection, Mara did a great job mixing these glitters. The formula on these was excellent, the glitters applied flat on the nail and spread evenly.

I'm very proud of my friend and so happy because this is a new chapter in her life. I wish her the best!
