Nicole by OPI - Coca Cola Collection, Swatches and review

This is a limited edition collection from Nicole by OPI inspired by Coca-Cola beverages. There are six shades in the collection.

Always a Classic Coca-Cola: This is a shimmery metallic bright red. This is two coats.  DC Lover: is a shimmery silver base with red glitter. This is three thin coats.  The Look is Orange: This is an orange creme shade. I applied two coats.  In Grape Demand: This is a gorgeous plum creme. This is two coats.  Seriously Citrus: Clear base packed with a beautiful mix of green, blue and white glitter. This is two coats over The Look Is Orange.  Zero is My Hero: This is a darkly rich burgundy with red shimmer in it. This is two coats.  Although the colors are not unique, this is a pretty collection with a fantastic formula. My favorites were The Look Is Orange and Seriously Citrus. Winstonia Wedding Bliss and On The Road stamping plates review.

Hello!

Today I will be showing you two new stamping plates from Winstonia. These plates are called On The Road and Wedding Bliss. 

The plates come with a blue film to protect them, this film has to be removed before you start stamping. Each plate measures  7cm x 8cm. The full nail images are big enough to fit wider nails. 

Wedding Bliss plate using Nicole by OPI Sweet Surrender and Barry M Foil Effect Silver.

Another design using the Wedding Bliss plate. Base color: Zoya Kirtridge and the stamping polishes 8 and 32 from Mundo de Uñas.

On The Road plate using OPI Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window stamped with MDU #12.

Essie I'm Addicted and MDU white stamping polish.

The quality on these plates is very good, they are well etched and the images came out neat and crisp.

This is the new collection from Nicole by OPI for Summer 2014. There are three creme polishes and one glitter topper.

The Coral Of The Story
This is a coral creme shade. I needed two coats to obtain full opacity.

Lay it On The Lime
A beautiful creme bright lime green. This is three coats.

Leapink For Joy
A pretty barbie pink creme. This is two coats.

Shaved Nice
A glitter topper very similar to Muppet's World Tour. This is a clear base packed with matte white  glitter, silver fine glitter and different colored larger glitters. This is one coat over Leapink For Joy

This is a pretty but not unique collection. The formula on these was excellent except for the green shade that was a little bit sheer and needed three coats.

Challenge Red-Y, this a true red creme. I applied two coats and it still looked a little bit sheer. Great formula. 

Live In The Momentum, is a creme medium blue. I just needed two coats to make it completely opaque.

These are beautiful polishes with excellent formulas. Live In The Momentum is a stunning bright blue.

Roughles Skittles

Hello everyone!
Spring is finally here and what a better way to welcome the warm days than wearing some pastel shades. I wanted to wear my Nicole by OPI Roughles but I wasn't sure what shade should I use so I decided to go for skittles.

On my ring finger I used I'm Stucco On You, on my middle finger I used On What Grounds? and the pink shade is Rock The Look.

I stamped using the plate Cici&Sisi 05 and added some flowers from the plate Cici&Sisi 03

Nicole by OPI Nic's Sticks - Silver-Ella

Hello!
I can't believe I found this beauty on a blog sale! This is a Nic's Stick in Silver-Ella from Nicole by OPI, I think this was released in 2010 but unfortunately they were discontinued.

Silver-Ella is a holographic silver shade. The formula was nice and it was opaque in three coats.

I stamped using the plate BM415 from Bundle Monster and Konad black special polish.

Nicole by OPI Roughles Collection, Swatches and Review

Hello Beautiful People!
Today I have for you the new collection from Nicole by OPI, The Roughles are four soft pastel shades that dry to a matte texture speckled finish.

Sand In My Shoe, is a matte golden apricot shade with red specks in it.

On What Grounds?, is a matte minty green/blue shade with blue and black specks in it.

Rock The Look, is a matte bubble gum base with red and black specks.

I'm Stucco On You, is a soft matte lavender shade with red and blue specks to it.

All of these polishes were opaque in two coats, the applied effortless. These dried to a matte textured finish. I didn't use base or top coat for my swatches.

 If you love texture polishes, you will need these for Spring. I can't wait to wear these on my toes soon ;)

Skittlette Stamped Nails

Hola!
Today's nails were inspired by three talented girls, I did Skittlettes a la Marta, used the distressed technique from this tutorial by Sarah from Chalk Board Nails and the stamping was inspired by Amanda, aka @madamluck from Instagram. 

For my index and ring finger the base color I used was OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around, then applied brush strokes using China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy and Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. 

On my middle finger I did two coats of Jinx from OPI and on my pinky two coats of Black Onix also from OPI. I added a small neon yellow star shaped stud.

For the stamping I used the plate Pueen 50 and Mash nail polish in black.

I love how these nails came out and after wearing this look for a day I decided to add a matte top coat and few more stars to my pinky. 

The lovely Marta from ChitChat Nails also came up with a similar look, I love her version so much. Take a  look at her color combination.

Valentine's Day Water Marble

Happy Thursday everyone!
This is a water marble I did using three polishes from Nicole by OPI, this could be a good manicure for Valentine's Day ♥

I used Yoga-Then-Yogurt, At Least I Pink So and Something About Spring. For my base color I applied one coat of YTY. 

I added a coat of my top coat I've created for Valentine's Day, Minnie's Mani.
