Polished by Alexandra - Seaside Carnival Collection, Summer 2015

Hello!
Today I have for you a collection from a fellow indie maker, Alexandra. She created four creme shades for summer inspired by the Seaside Carnival.

Cotton Candy Sunsets, is described as a "sweet-pink hue of a summer sunset"  this is a beautiful warm toned pink creme. This was completely opaque in two coats.

Peach Salt Water Taffy,  is a soft peachy creme with a hint of orange to it. This is two coats.

Minty-Go-Round, this is a very delicate minty green creme. I applied two coats.

Boardwalk Breeze is a dusky periwinkle creme. This is two coats.

 I did a water marble accent nail using the four shades from the collection.

I really enjoyed swatching this little quad from Alexandra, the formula on these was great, they applied smoothly and evenly in two coats. My favorites are Minty-Go-Round and Boardwalk Breeze. Which one is your favorite?

These polishes are 3-Free, each bottle contains 2-3 stainless steel mixing balls to help with any setting of colorant or glitter.

The Summer 2015 Collection: Seaside Carnival will be available June 1st, each polish retails for $8.75 and Alexandra will be offering the entire set for $32.00

Polished by Alexandra - The Winter 2013 Collection: Holiday Traditions (Swatches and Review)

Hello Everyone!
Today I have for you this Winter Collection created by the talented Alexandra. This collection features five nail polishes including one top coat.
I really enjoyed swatching these shades, they are very pretty and the formula was excellent.

I used base and top coat for all the swatches below.

Blue Christmas is a turquoise blue that shifts to a bluish violet depending on the light. It was opaque in three thin coats.

BM005

Mistletoe Kisses is a garnet red that shifts to a coppery gold. I applied three thin coats to obtain full opacity. I love the duo-chrome effect on this polish.

Sparklers and Champagne is a glitter top coat with white holographic and gold hexagon glitter. This is one coat over Mistletoe Kisses.

Sparklers and Champagne over dark green.

Festival of Lights is an amazing white crelly with aqua dots and hexagons along with periwinkle hexagons. This is two coats by itself.

Jolly Old Saint Nick is a white  crelly with red, green and gold hexagon glitters. I applied two coats by itself.

Overall I liked this collection, the formula of these polishes is amazing, This is a perfect collection for the Holidays. These are 3-free. This collection will be available on Dec 4th  here for $8.75 each and Alexandra is offering the entire collection for $41.
