China Glaze - The Giver Collection. Swatches, review and giveaway

It’s time to “Colour Your Destiny” with the bright colors and rich textures of China Glaze’s exclusive The Giver nail polish collection.  Inspired by the most anticipated movie release of the summer, the collection combines bold and neutral crèmes, and a gorgeous glitter to create 12 limited edition shades. 
Influenced by the powerful themes and message of the story, The Giver collection by China Glaze brings key moments and characters to colour, particularly the main character Jonas (portrayed by Brendon Thwaites) and his friend Fiona (portrayed by Odeya Rush) as he struggles to understand the dark, complex secrets behind his seemingly ideal community.  The film will open in theaters Friday August 15th 2014. 

Today I'm very happy to share with you my thoughts on this collection. I am very excited to watch the movie with these lovely nail polishes on. 

Friends Forever, Right?,  This is the palest pink I've ever seen. It's like a creamy white with a hint of pink to it. The formula was nice, I just needed two coats to obtain full opacity. 

New Birth, This one is like Friends Forever, Right? but a blue version. It's a super light baby blue. I also did two coats.

Five Rules, a pale white toned beige. Opaque in two coats.

Intelligence, Integrity & Courage,  a medium gray shade with a hint of blue in it. I applied two coats.

Release, this is another greyish shade with a purple undertone. This is two coats.

History Of The World, a beautiful dusty indigo. This was opaque in two coats.

The Outer Edge, a clear base with white and silver micro glitter. This is one coat over History Of The World.

Seeing Red, this is a creamy brick red. Gorgeous shade, opaque in two coats.

Community, a milk chocolate brown creme. I used two coats.

Boundary Of Memory, this is the other glitter from the collection, a clear base with black, gold and amber micro glitter. This is just one coat over Community. This glitter is very dense and opaque, it reaches opacity by itself in two coats.

Capacity To See Beyond, this is a stunning bright sky blue creme. This is two coats.

Givers Theme, a vibrant violet creme shade. Opaque in two coats.

I am really in love with this collection. I have no issues with the formula and application. My favorites are Capacity To See Beyond, Release, New Birth and Boundary of Memories.
