Since I started blogging, (almost four years ago) this nail polish was on my wish list. I always admired these swatches from Scrangie wishing that Funky Limelight were mine one day. Finally this stunning polish is mine. I found it on a blog sale and I didn't pay the ridiculous price from eBay. I'm a very happy girl!!!
Funky Limelight is the brightest neon yellow I've ever seen. This was part of the collection Essie launched for Summer 2009.
I used a makeup sponge to create a gradient using Bettina Marshmallow and Essie Funky Limelight.
After finishing the gradient I decided to apply Funky Limelight as an accent nail (two coats over white) and added Pirouette My Whistle from OPI. I also stamped using the plate W203 from Winstonia and added some neon studs.
I took a lot of pictures, some indoor, with artificial light, with low light, in the sunlight and in the shadow trying to capture the true color of this.
