OPI - Mariah Carey Collection, Swatches and Review.

Hi beauties, today I have for you the Mariah Carey Collection from OPI, this is the Spring 2013 collection and will be available January 2013.

Eight new limited edition shades inspired and hand-selected by multiple Grammy Award winning recording artist Mariah Carey. These shades include four new OPI Liquid Sand™lacquers featuring groundbreaking technology for a textured, matte finish infused with reflective sparkle.

So, let's see the swatches...

These are the Stage Shades with the Liquid Sand effect. (two coats of each one plus base coat)

GET YOUR NUMBER, this is a matte liquid sand base (jelly base) with blue and holo silver sparkles.

CAN'T LET GO, this is a purple liquid sand base with purple hex glitter.

THE IMPOSSIBLE, I think the name of this one is perfect because to me it was impossible to get any of the stars without fishing for them. This is a red liquid sand base with hex and stars glitters. 

STAY THE NIGHT, this is a black base with dark red glitter.

The pictures below shows them with one coat of Gelous top coat plus one coat of Poshe.

The Studio Shades:

A BUTTERFLY MOMENT, this is a shimmery nude pink.It's a very pretty shade. I applied two easy coats.

PINK YET LAVENDER, a clear base with pink and lavender hex glitter and small holo glitter.

SPRUNG, this is a shimmery copper shade, this is two coats.

ANTI-BLEAK, a creme deep purple with a fantastic formula. I applied two easy coats.

I don't know if I love or hate the liquid sand effect, the finish is interesting and unusual. They look very nice with top coat but you will need at least three coats to make them shiny.
The other colors are very pretty and feminine although they aren't unique shades.
