Hurricane Sandy and Rescue Beauty Lounge - Aqua Lily

Hello!
I'm sorry for the lack of posts recently, I live in the East Coast, specifically in Connecticut, the last few days we were affected by hurricane Sandy. We had a couple of days to prepare everything in case we had to evacuate the house.
The day when the hurricane passed by us was very scary, the winds were very strong accompanied by heavy rain. We lost power for two days but fortunately nothing happened to us. There's still lots of downed trees around us and many houses without power

On another note, yesterday I celebrated my Birthday, we celebrated that we were fine and everything already passed.

This is the manicure I did yesterday for my B-day, I used RBL Aqua Lily,an stunning light turquoise creme base with a subtle pink and purple shimmer. This applies like butter on the nails, two coats were enough for full opacity.

This nail polish was sent to me as a Birthday gift from my lovely friend Mara from the blog Mara In Polishland.

I did a gradient using a creme black nail polish and stamped using the plate LLC-A I bought from Llarowe but it looks like it's not available anymore.

RBL nail poilshes can be purchased at http://www.rescuebeauty.com/

Thank you very much for watching!
Carolina♥
